DOME Energy Limited is proud to be supporting the Dundee Renewable Energy Society (DRES). This is a local energy cooperative which aims to help alleviate fuel poverty in Dundee and to help green the local electricity grid.
The DRES project is currently in the process of developing a 2MW solar panel install near the A90 Swallow Roundabout on the west side of Dundee near Invergowrie. This is roughly enough to power 200 homes.

This project will generate renewable energy for the James Hutton Institute, helping them to meet their green energy goals.
Assisted by Energy4All, DRES will raise over £2m through a share offer (launching in the second half of 2023).
Dónall Garvin sits on the board of DRES and is involved in different aspects of the project.

If you are interested in investing in DRES, the share offer will be open later this year. There is however other opportunities to invest in community energy cooperatives through Energy4All – where you can sign-up to find out more. See here for the last Share Offers.
